Food for thoughts
Living in this world, we cannot escape from getting acquainted with others. When we, designers introduce ourselves, people usually ask, "What do you design?". Yet, almost no one ask, "Why do you design?". I love art, nature and the connection of everything in between. I often do not understand why designers compete to make new things when there are too many things in this world that actually might not need to exist. Look around you. Creation of nature always returns to nature's cycle, but what designers create most ends up being rubbish. Beauty is not only born from thinking, but from feeling. A sustainable future would not be possible without an understanding of the past. Happiness is doing what we love. I believe that since the past, now, and tomorrow, design is a powerful medium through which human can plan and shape space, environment, even society and themselves. Environmental and social responsibility have never been this important for designers. Let us all be a lifelong learner.
