In 2014 founded in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia, as Trash for Interior. The accumulation of municipal solid waste (MSW) commonly happens in industrial cities, including Surabaya City. In respond of this problem, this research explores the value of MSW through rethink reuse process into space forming interior design elements. The research methodology uses design thinking which combines design typology, concept sketch study, and trial error study. The result of this research includes the recommendation of space forming interior elements which are based on the basic nature analysis of the material of selected municipal solid waste types. Additionally, the research is optimized by creating social relationship and creative entrepreneurship practices with related stakeholders, trash collectors, designers and craftsmen.

Since 2017, this platform has been evolving onto rethinking the good of common local trash through a global learning. This page is now providing open education and services regarding trash management for the betterment of environment, especially in Indonesia and Japan. Now also collecting images of trash bins from our neighborhood to learn how people value their trash.
